The Owner

Hi! My name is Emalynn, and my passions are people, community and connection! I love making other people smile and planning events that do just that.

My event planning journey started my junior year of High School, when I read an article about students in my community who were unhoused and unable to afford school supplies, clothes or anything that they’d need for participation in school sports. I found out that there was a fund to help these students, and I wanted to contribute and raise awareness. I decided to plan a benefit concert!

I have a passion for music and concerts, and I have friends in bands and connections with larger bands. I was able to get bands to donate their time and talent, I got venue space, tickets, food, and drinks donated, and I had friends and family volunteer their time to help me.

I was able to raise $1,500 my first year planning this event, with solely local bands. My second year, I was able to get a more well known band to headline, and I raised $2,500. I loved watching everyone enjoy themselves at an event I planned!

I graduated High School and went on to attend Northern Arizona University. I started as a Business Major, and sophomore year I decided I wanted a less broad focus. I switched to Hotel and Restaurant Management with an emphasis in event management. I ultimately graduated with a degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management, a certificate in Event Management and a Minor in Business.

While in school, I worked for the City of Flagstaff and helped execute city events. I interned with Peak Events, who plans the largest Blues Festival in Arizona as well as Flagstaff Oktoberfest, among many other events. I also volunteered with Shadow’s Foundation as the right hand to the Owner, helping plan and execute golf tournaments, festivals, galas, and other local initiatives.

I had the pleasure of being the Events Coordinator and then President of my University’s chapter of the National Society of Leadership & Success. I planned movie nights, meetings, fundraisers, and so so much more.

I’ve held multiple events positions since then, but I am currently working in trade shows and conventions. I love that I get to connect people and businesses in my community through unique and exciting events!

    I have preferred contacts in multiple states and would love you help you celebrate your love!!

  • With a history of festival and concert planning, I will make sure your festival is unique and exciting! I am passionate about live events and I can't wait to plan yours!

The Projects

My backstory started with benefit concerts. I love combining my passion for music with my passion for events, connection and community. But I’ve been lucky enough to take part in planning a number of unique events!
